OMAHA — Citing an unusual combination of emotional intelligence and the ability to sit when asked, regional logistics firm Carruthers & Bly promoted an area dog to vice president Monday.
Biscuit, 6, reportedly impressed the executive team by greeting every employee, sharing credit freely, and refusing to schedule a meeting during lunch.
A natural leader
“He looks you in the eye, listens without interrupting, and has never once said ‘my door is always open’ before closing his door,” analyst Renee Ford said.
The company’s existing managers will now report to Biscuit, pending completion of his background check and a brief investigation into a missing sandwich.
